Production Reporting - Scrap/Weight Difference
PS
SCREEN
OVERVIEW
The PS screen is used to enter information about scrap that
resulted from the production transaction. The PS screen is displayed
when the user selects Scrap from the Operation drop down box on the
Summary screen. The PS screen should not be used until
all Charge and Discharge data is entered. The screen
is divided into three sections. The top part displays some summary
data for the transaction. The middle section has entry fields for
defining a scrap entry. The bottom displays a list of the scrap
entries already made.
There can be several scrap entries for a production transaction.
For example, side trim scrap that is engineered into the process could be
an entry, and head end scrap due to off gauge could be a separate
entry. Once an entry is made in the middle section, the user clicks
the "Scrap" button. This moves that entry to the bottom section, and
clears the middle fields for another entry. The system also
recalculates the Remaining Weight value shown at the top.
Once all scrap entries are displayed in the bottom section, the user
clicks the "Add" button. This caused the Summary screen to
display. The scrap entries should now be displayed on the Summary
screen.
